Aerosol: Shake well. Apply paint about 8” to 10" from surface with light, even coats. When finished, hold the aerosol can upside-down and spray until clear gas appears, this is to clear the pick up tube inside of can and prevent clogging.
Spray Gun:
Recommend gun pressure, 18 to 20 psi.
Recommend spray tip, 1.2 to 1.4
WAIT TIME : DIP BITE dries very quickly and is ready to dip as soon as it can be handled usually within 15 minutes, at 70 degrees
If you have a bad dip, you can rinse the item with very hot water and recoat without sanding
HDPE PLASTICS: require flame treatment for ANY paint application. How can you tell if a plastic is HDPE? Check for a stamp, ask the manufacturer or do an acetone test (rub a small amount in a hidden spot and if the plastic reacts at all - goes sticky, matte, etc. it is not HDPE and you can paint on it directly.)
DIP BITE® is non catalyst and requires a clear top coat when hydrographic decorating is completed.
DIP BITE® IS A TRUE PROFESSIONAL HYDROGRAPHIC PAINT
The inks in hydrographic film chemically bonds /etches into the paint during the dipping process.
DIP BITE ® is a non-catalyst base coat paint Infused with clear resin primers and adhesion promoters
DIP BITE ® Is ready to spray (no mixing required)
DIP BITE® Can be used as a color base coat only without hydrographic decorateing
DIP BITE® is formulated to provide excellet coverage without heavy build up, which is crucial when working with firearms that have tight tolerances, to be able to take down and reassemble
Engineered to be sprayed directly to metal, plastic, fiberglass, wood, bone, aluminum, and previously painted parts.
Ready to Spray: No mixing required
Dip Window: For optimum results we suggest you dip within 5 days
Note: Others claim that their paint has a 18 to 24 month dip window and is ready to dip 5 minutes after applying. We would rather be accurate, to allow you to achive the best results for a chemical bond of our product (any paint used after 7 days would only give only a mechanical bond)
SOLVENT BASED: unlike water-based paints, ours will not rust metal or freeze in storage and can be used with any HVLP or automotive paint sprayer.
Works with All Films and Activators on the market
HEAT RESISTANT: Fine for valve covers and everything on an engine except exhaust parts.
